Mid Atlantic Officials (MAC) is the Number 1 baseball umpiring association in the entire Mid Atlantic Region.  We have the most games to offer and we pay the highest fees.  MAC assigns all levels of baseball from Little League all the way up to Division I colleges; we assign more upper level baseball than any organization in the region.  We are Number 1 in NCAA, High School, and upper level Collegiate and Men’s Leagues. The opportunity for advancement within MAC is unparalleled.  Many first-year umpires who start with Little League and Babe Ruth games go on to work college baseball in only a few years.

The biggest reason that MAC maintains such a high level of distinction stems from our high standards.  Every new umpire receives professional training.  Whether you are 70 or 14 years old you are treated with respect and have the same opportunity for advancement.  We have a huge base of knowledgeable, veteran umpires who are eager to instruct and help those new to the association.  Every new umpire has the opportunity to learn from professional instructors in a classroom setting as well as on the field.  New umpires (and even veteran) learn more each and every game from their partners.  Umpires listen and learn from one another as we are all treated as peers.
